WHO ARE WE?
Located in Montreal, M'Nonga soap factory takes its name from an adventure that began in Burkina Faso. Trained as an educator-sexologist, nothing destined me to one day launch a business. It was during a stay in Burkina Faso in 2003, while I was a cooperator with African women, that I discovered the art of soap making.
A few years after my return, I created La Savonnerie M’Nonga and started making soaps in my kitchen.
M'Nonga means love in Moore, a language spoken in Burkina Faso. Africa holds a special place in my heart, and most of my soaps are made with fair-trade shea butter imported from West Africa.
Over time, we became distributors in several zero-waste stores in Montreal.
For the past two years, our shop-workshop located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard has been dedicated to creating natural soaps, gentle on the skin and respectful of the environment.
Our passion for natural ingredients and the creation of quality products is at the heart of every bar of soap we make. We also have a wide variety of body care products and items linking bathing and well-being.
