Who are we ?
Located in Montreal, the M'Nonga soap factory takes its name from an adventure that began in Burkina Faso... Trained as an educator-sexologist, nothing predicted me to one day launch a business. It was during a stay in Burkina Faso in 2003, when I was working with African women, that I discovered the art of soapmaking.
A few years after my return, I created La Savonnerie M'Nonga and started making soaps in my kitchen.
M'Nonga means love in Moré, a language spoken in Burkina Faso. Africa occupies a special place in my heart and most of my soaps are made with fair trade shea butter imported from West Africa.
Over time, we became a distributor in several zero waste stores in Montreal.
For more than a year, our boutique workshop located on Saint-Laurent Boulevard has been dedicated to the creation of natural soaps, gentle on the skin and respectful of the environment.
Our passion for natural ingredients and creating quality products is behind every bar of soap we make. We also have a variety of body care products and items linking bathing and well-being.

In our modern world, it is easy to forget the simplicity and beauty of nature. That's why we decided to create soaps that contain only simple and natural ingredients. Not only are they better for our skin, they are also better for our planet.

Our soaps are handmade, with love and care, using only natural and eco-friendly ingredients. We firmly believe that taking care of your skin should not be to the detriment of our beautiful planet.
